Microsoft Gives Audience the Bird, Unveils “Tweet Choir” in Last Ever CES keynote

CES, the Consumer Electronics Show held each January in Las Vegas, is known for two things:

1. Being the first look at the new gadget technology we can expect to see in the year ahead.

2. It’s invariably across the road from the annual porn industry convention held in Las Vegas at the same time. Continue reading

New Non Lethal Weapon Will End Protesting

Law enforcement has been dealt some major setbacks this year because of their inability to effectively deal with protestors. This was epitomized by the UC Davis pepper spray cop. The non lethal options he had available to him were comically ineffective.

What he needed was something that would put real fear into protestors but without actually killing them. He needed the Sprayser™. The Crasstalk research and development team has been hard at work on the Sprayser since they first heard about the Occupy Movement. Now it is ready for general use. Read on to see the Sprayser in all of its glory. Continue reading

How to Destroy a Video Game Controller with Bad Customer Service

The Avenger Controller was originally developed as an add-on to a standard Xbox or Playstation controller. It allows those with disabilities to play the games they love with minimal hand movements.  Its inventor, David Kotkin was inspired by a student in his class that experienced difficulty playing due to skin condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa, a hereditary condition which makes skin sensitive, blister easily, and sometimes affects hand size.  The Avenger was rightly lauded as opening up gaming to a market that is often overlooked. Additionally, the general public, currently in love with multiplayer games, and a growing interest in competitive gaming brought the device to the general public and sales took off. Continue reading

Craigslost: All I Want For Christmas is a Midget Orgy Behind the Hardee’s Dumpster

One year when we were kids, my dad decided to mess with my brother and I in a way not unlike that Jimmy Kimmel video that has been making the rounds this week. He brought out a huge wrapped-up gift and stuck it under the tree. After every other gift had been opened, my brother and I tore the wrapping paper off and there it was — an entire pig’s head from a butcher shop. He thought this was hilarious… and YouTube hadn’t even been invented yet.

So Christmas brings out the crazy side in all of us and nowhere is that more evident than at the Shopping Mall of Perversion that is Craigslist. When Slim Pickens and I first kicked around the idea of a Christmas-themed Craigslost we honestly didn’t think we’d find nearly enough demented assholery and Freudian dysfunction for an entire post. Boy were we wrong. (Slim: Never before have I been so glad that I was wrong. I think.)

Let’s get to the fuckery! (Warning: Craigslost is NSFW.)

Arresting Private Manning

After spending more than eighteen months of pre-trial confinement in a military prison, most of it under “maximum custody,” alleged WikiLeaks source Bradley Manning has finally begun the judicial process in a military court.

In the second day of his (UCMJ) Article 32 pre-trial hearing, it was revealed that the affidavit that served as the basis for his arrest appears to have been based in large part on unconfirmed or erroneous information.

The .XXX Domain is a Terrible Idea. Here’s Why.

If you’ve turned on your TV recently you may have noticed a series of (awful and borderline racist) commercials for www.Buy.xxx. Yep, you can now register Slores.xxx (or whatever). Yesterday the .xxx top level domain (TLD) officially opened as more than 100,000 sites were registered with the domain management company ICM Management.

The creation of the .xxx TLD has been roiling the adult industry for the past few years but is now just creeping into the mainstream media.  Continue reading
