This episode was torture, pure torture. The very idea of rewatching this episode so that I can write this recap made my heart cry. In a fit of procrastination, I tried to think of things I would rather do than watch this episode again and I came up with the following: 1. I’d rather watch a sex tape starring my grandparents; 2. I’d rather eat horse testicle soup; 3. I’d rather drink the water in Mexico; 4. I’d rather get lost in Chicago’s South Side in the daytime wearing heels, without my CTA card and cell phone; and 5. Hey y’all! Have you missed me? I’m done with grad school so now I can devote all of my waking hours to Glee Glee Glee Gleeeeeeeeeeee. I mean, I won’t actually do that, but I guess I COULD, you know? Let’s not dawdle and recount what we have and have not learned from this week’s episode.
We already know that Sarah Palin is an Internet troll, but it sure does feel nice to have a journalist confirm it. According to today’s piece in The Atlantic, Palin “obsessed over her image” and “orchestrated a campaign to inundate newspapers with phony letters praising her.” A particularly odd obsession, considering that she actually got stuff done for Alaska.
Whether you’re gettin’ your drink on in that saucy little skirt tonight, cleaning the kitchen because you finally have some free time, or nerding out and watching sci-fi on Netflix, I’ve got some jamz for you. ‘Cuz I love you guys.
