Friday Night DJ Party – The Poosy Mix

To commemorate last weekend’s stupidness I put together a house mix for the kids. So here’s a bunch of dope tracks together in one mix that’s heavy on the Fred Falke and Way Out West.

I know it starts off slow and laid back, but the pace picks up pretty quickly.  I’m not a real deejay or anything, so try not to get yer vadges too sandy if the beatmaching isn’t always perfect. I’m calling it The Poosy Mix.

Review: Perhaps Whitney Cummings Should Learn What Abominable Means

You know that opening scene in that not great movie The Way of The Gun where Ryan Phillippe, doosh, has this crazy, foul-mouthed banter with this dark-haired, lady-cretin who rages and rants in a way that is incredibly awful, yet shamefully funny in its offensiveness, but then a few years later lots of people love her for it, and yes, well, many of us said, “Hey, Sarah Silverman was that sick, twisted chick from the opening scene of that movie all my stoner friends told me about. The original editors were Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen. Continue reading

Project Runway Season 9: Oliver Must Die

An autumn chill crept into the Parsons building as Heidi strutted down the runway in a black frock, telling the designers that while there are only eight sewtestants left, a show at Fashion Week is far from guaranteed for any of them. Schadenfreude, Heidi, is it your middle name? As always, there are spoilers inside, so click, click, click at your own risk! Continue reading

FBI Report Shows Violent Crime Down, War on Drugs Still Alive in 2010

The FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting Program released their annual report on Monday. The 2010 data shows a continuing downward trend in violent crimes while drug arrests remain high despite the Obama administration’s previously stated wish to change the nation’s drug enforcement policies.

Drug offenses made up the majority of arrests nationwide, with a total of about 1.6 million. A whopping 81.9% of those were for possession, rather than sale or manufacturing. Marijuana offenses led the pack with 45.8% of all drug arrests being for marijuana possession. Continue reading
