Say what you want about Chris Christie. Whether you like his politics, his governing style, his personality or not — he was kind of a class act today:
Avoiding becoming the East Coast’s Sarah Palin, Christie — who was only elected twenty months ago — said ‘now is not my time,’ and that would remain as governor of New Jersey. He said this before. He actually joked that he might have to commit suicide to convince the bored national media and the increasingly freaked out Republican Party leadership that he doesn’t want to run.
Oh, sure, he’s enjoying the attention. Let him.
Now. Who shall the Republicans look to save them from Mittens next.
