The sense of smell is underrated; we take it for granted. Scents can arouse or repulse, trigger memories, or make our stomach rumble. We probably react more in a wholly unconscious way to a smell than we do to things we hear, see, feel, or taste. Today’s QOTD:
What scent causes a strong reaction in you?
I’m not a huge fan of perfumes, they’re overwhelming and I’m allergic to 75% of them, but I look for my Grandmother every time I smell Estee Lauder’s Youth Dew. Very few people wear it anymore, it’s definitely a WASPY old lady perfume so the occasions where I spin around looking for her are few and far between these days.
