Ten Truly Horrible Facebook Pages

Facebook is ubiquitous. Even your grammy has had an account for two years and the site has become a standard staple in any marketing plan. Of course, it is this widespread use that makes Facebook so damn handy. You can find a FaceBook page for any interest or group, no matter how obscure.

However, this also means that there are some sick fucks and general jack asses who also populate the Facebook universe. Stupidity, bigotry, bad taste; Facebook has it all. I am going to spare you the chore of searching for it yourself, and give you a sampling of some of the worst Facebook has to offer.

  • Stop Islamization of America. This is the page for fans of shrill and dangerous bigot Pamela Gellar. Author of the reprehensible Atlas Shrugged blog, Geller spreads lies and violent rhetoric against Muslims. The page is used mostly to shill Geller’s awful book.

  •  Joseph Andrew Stack. Stack was the asshole who flew a plane into an IRS office in Austin, TX after burning down his family’s house. This is a page for people who think he was a great guy. Facebook has taken it down several times, but it keeps reappearing. The only mitigating circumstance is this page.

  • Anonymous. If you like this page from your Facebook profile you aren’t very fucking anonymous are you? Morons.
  • Sarah Palin. The ultimate troll has over three million presumably stupid Facebook fans. I am not even going to bother with a screen shot. We have all seen enough of this fame-whore.
  • Guns and Patriots. Page for people who think that they are tougher than everyone else because they hide behind their guns. A haven for internet tough guys.

  • Vaccine Epidemic. People who will give every kid in the neighborhood measles because Jenny McCarthy told them it was ok.
  • Andrew Breitbart.  A Horrible Facebook page for a horrible man. A one-stop shop for privileged white guys to whine about how the poors and the coloreds hate them. WoWF, why didn’t you punch him in the face when you had the chance?

  • Westboro Baptist Church. The fact that they have a Facebook page may actually be a compelling argument against the existence of God.

Facebook is just a mirror of our own society. Unfortunately, we just aren’t that pretty to look at.
