The Catholic League, the nation’s largest Catholic civil rights organization (according to their website – I haven’t seen a study on this), is a group that “…defends the right of Catholics – lay and clergy alike – to participate in American public life without defamation or discrimination.” Okay. That’s nice. It’s awfully brave of you to stand up for the largest religious group in the United States. It’s inspiring me to form a group to stand up for the rights of meth manufacturers and users in California’s central valley. Continue reading

The barista that made my coffee this morning forgot to put sweetener in it and didn’t put in enough cream. Consequently, like my morning coffee, I am now bitter. Continue reading
As most of you are aware, I have spent the last few weeks working on the Million Hoodies campaign trying to pressure the Florida authorities to indict George Zimmerman for the shooting of Trayvon Martin. Yes, well, Keith Olbermann has apparently been taught by the greats. Continue reading

Sorry for skipping out on everyone yesterday. If there’s someone else that would like to do a day or two of these a week, I’d be more than happy to share it. Continue reading
I love a good political cartoon and I even like ones in which I disagree with the premise. I appreciate the quick, visual manner in which the drawing illustrates the opinions of the artist. I think they are more talented than many op/ed columnists who need 700+ words to illustrate the same point. Continue reading
