Phew! What a week, Crassers. I’ve decided that’s what I’m calling you from now on. Good enough? That’s what I thought. (See, I’m channeling my inner manly man! That Day of Manly Things really lingers.)

I hear there have been some protests going on around the country, including in New York. Not everything has been going smoothly, though, and in some corners, the Occupy Wall Street movement is getting (poorly conceived) comparisons to the Tea Party. One of our commenters cut through that one pretty easily:

Our winner this week got multiple nominations, and is well-deserved. I’m not just saying that because he helps run the shop, either. Though, I’m hoping for a few extra bread scraps this weekend. Plus, perhaps it’s an idea that would help to mollify those who say Congress can’t do anything:
Maybe. Probably not, though. It would still be an Obama plan, which is to say-DOA in Congress.
