Ok, here we go. Day 2: 2011.
I almost picked “All the Lights” by Kanye, but then research showed that that song was released in 2010. I thought about trying to justify it by saying it was on the 2011 Billboard charts, but I decided to stay true to the mission.
Top songs at the end of 2011 included Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem,” (really?) and not one, but two songs from Katy Perry – “Firework” and “E.T.”
In the end, I have very fond memories of turning the volume up very high in my Tercel and jamming to this song (along with pretending I could rap) for the last few months of 2011.
