QOTD: What Was Your Favorite Board Game?

Before Al Gore or David Hasselhoff invented the Internet, or you were able to finally go to the mall arcade to play Space Invaders and possibly buy reefer by the restrooms, you and your siblings sat down at the dining room table and pulled out the old board game where some measure of victory was won, or someone cried tears into their bowl of ice cream. Loser! Draw Four!

So what was your favorite *board game growing up? Were you a Connect Four or Trouble guy or gal? Did you have an anxiety attack during Operation, or did you often pin the murder on Colonel Mustard in the Billiard Room with a Candlestick?

Tell us in the comments. We’ll even accept reminiscing about Twister, but if you start some sort of love letter dedicated to Stratego or Risk…you’ll get the side eye. Nerds.

*Consider anything you would find in the “Board Games” section of Toys R Us between 1978 and 1994 in this category.
