Last night, fashion and film stars, and Kim Kardashian, gathered for Anna Wintour’s annual: “I brought you into this world, I can take you out” party aka the Costume Institute Gala aka the Met Ball. The theme was Punk: Chaos to Couture and it was mostly embraced. Then there were those who were apparently on their way to a wedding and stopped through anyway, I’m talking about you, UMA and Former Mrs. Tom Cruise!
Beyonce was very much the picture of controlled-ohsotightly-controlled chaos while Jennifer Lawrence disappointed with her Betty Draper version of “chaos.” “America’s Sweetheart” Gwenyth missed the memo completely but then again, she IS the most beautiful woman in the world so piss off with your theme parties. For maybe the first time in her life, Kristin Stewart fit right in and had one of the best looks of the evening. The selections were tres interesant, so let’s get right to them.
