Hey! It’s 90’s Tuesday!

Why? Because why the hell not! You don’t have anything better to do, so tell us what you loved (or hated) about the 1990’s.

It can be anything you want; music, television, movies, politics, fashion, collectibles, holiday gifts, the resurgence of the 1970’s (HA! No. If you were one of those who wore weird vests and bell bottoms when that fad started (See: Music Group, Dee-Lite), we’ll make fun of you. BUT! If you wore weird vests and polka dots, you’ll totally be accepted! Go figure.) being Gothy, Grungy, or Poet-y, or Freaks and Geeky, or angst-y My So Called Life-y — Whatever! LA Gear! Crispy Bangs! Mayim Bialik Blossom Hats! Kelly Kapowski Doing This! and Will Smith Doing This!

So, let’s get into the time machine and have fun reminiscing about all the fun times we had during the 1990’s, you know, when Bill Clinton was president and we had money in our pockets, could sleep with interns, apparently, and people would “cut you” for an Elmo doll. Bonus points for reminding us of items that no longer exist like Surge soda, Zima, Crystal Pepsi, (Good God, Beanie Babies) or Macaulay Culkin in movies (and not on meth? Sadz.)

Any great 90’s era anecdotes are also welcome. Tell us about that time you and your rap group, “Boyz With Noisez” won $100 at the school talent show, or what your high-school yearbook caption said, what kind of dorm you stayed in, what your first job was like, or what your thoughts on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs. The Power Rangers are (apparently for millennials there’s some amount of debate about this — either you were a casual observer, you appreciated it for its pop culture merits, or you went to the concerts dressed in full costume.)

Don’t worry, if you guys have trouble thinking up stuff, I’ll be in the comments just throwing out 90’s references, photos, and touchstones.

And remember, “Never Trust a Big Booty and a Smile.” Words to live by.
