Tonight’s mix is a whirlwind tour through the harder side of dance music. I’m not going to get all gabber/hardcore on your asses, but certainly we can sweat to some hard house, can’t we? Sure, why not. That is, if anyone actually stops in here. I’m mostly amusing myself, this much I know.
The first half focuses more on hard dance, hard techno, and hard (in the UK/progressive style) house. The latter half is hard (booty-ish) house in the Chicago tradition, which was popular in the late 90s/early 00s but seems to be having a bit of a resurgence, which is okay by me: I liked it then, and I still like it now. Everything is cyclical!
