I love a good political cartoon and I even like ones in which I disagree with the premise. I appreciate the quick, visual manner in which the drawing illustrates the opinions of the artist. I think they are more talented than many op/ed columnists who need 700+ words to illustrate the same point.
Each week or so, I’m going to do a round up of political cartoons. I am going to try to be balanced in offering opinions from both sides of the aisle. I will certainly be posting cartoons that I do not agree with the opinions of the artist. So please do not make the assumption that by posting a cartoon here that I agree with it. I simply found it interesting, enraging, thought-provoking or amusing.
