Question of the Day: What was your favorite song released in 2011?
Once again, if you require a little assistance in remembering what was released this year, here are what some others had to say at various points throughout the year, including Paste, Complex, Esquire, and MTV.com.
As for my personal favorite? It’s a tough call, what with the Decemberists having released The King is Dead earlier this year which contains a number of gems, as usual. But as someone whose love for 90s rock will never die, my personal favorite is “Arlandria,” off the Foo Fighters’ newest album, Wasting Light. Embarrassingly enough, I never heard it before attending their concert a couple of weeks ago, but I haven’t been able to get it out of my head since.
