Admittedly, Crasstalkers, I’m cheating a little bit, and writing this up on a Thursday night. Hey, a witch has to hold down a job to, you know.
The sad side-effect of this is that I’m watching Rachel Maddow right now, wondering how someone who has as much money and notoriety as Michael Moore can’t get himself a decent friggin’ haircut. Seriously, it’s like a rat’s nest that got hit by a tornado and then put through the spin cycle. Ugh.
It was a bit of a goofy week around here: Halloween, a pretty serious story about bullying, and posts that really ran the gamut from sports to entertainment to politics. It was fun. And spooky. Especially when you all started flipping names on Halloween.

Besides Halloween, it was also something called National Sandwich Day at some point this week. That brought us this:
I would have expected “EAT ME”. But then, I’m a big fan of Alice in Wonderland. Or something.
We learned a new method of calculating time, something called a “Kardashian”, though I’m not sure quite what that is. However, it inspired once commenter to come up with her own method of measurement:

I did feel bad about that one, briefly. It passed.
Once again, we talked about Occupy Wall Street this week, and featured a classless missive from a trader in Chicago. In truth, the actual document is reported to be almost a year old, but the dismissiveness is timeless. One astute commenter noted:
On a more serious note, we had a very sincere, very heartfelt post about bullying from BBQCornnuts, which lead to some very thoughtful comments. This, though, was my favorite by far.
Extremely thoughtful, and totally true. As always, we like to reward humor here, though, and, in the spirit of Halloween, we give you this:
