Welcome to week 4 of the Super Squats Club! Can you believe we’re already half way done?
I hate the treadmill. Hate it. But it is necessary for some of the workouts that I do for this training plan that I’m on. On Wednesdays I’m either doing speed repeats or a hill workout. This week I was like the princess and the pea when it came to finding a treadmill at my gym that suited me. The one that I usually use was out of order, the one next to it was wonky. If I wanted to change the speed, I would have had it manually increase the speed instead of just entering my desired speed on the machine. I’ve used this one before to work out, it’s annoying. Then the TV didn’t work on another one. (A treadmill workout is boring enough and my gym has spoiled me by having televisions on every cardio machine.) Then I think I finally find one that works and it starts catching as I go faster. I could see myself flying off this machine and making a total ass of myself, so I stop and move on to another one. 15 minutes and about 5 machines later I finally found a treadmill that I could complete my work out on. I love training in the fall and winter, but I miss summer’s early daylight that allows me the opportunity to run outside in the morning.
