Yes, even your new iPhone 4S is going to be crappy within 3 minutes of you getting your dirty hands on it. The problem is people don’t wash their hands after going to the loo and you use your phone to entertain yourself while sitting on your porcelain throne. Then to top it all off you lie to researchers when they ask you if you washed your hands. Shame!
Being a thing that actually exists, the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine along with the Queen Mary, University of London found that one sixth of all mobile phones in the United Kingdom have feces on them. Unless you’re from Cardiff you have some explaining to do.
This is all part of a massive effort to convince people to wash their hands called Global Handwashing Day. The hope being that once you realize that washing your hands is really easy and will keep crap off your gadgets then you might decide to keep washing your hands even when it’s not Global Handwashing Day.
I don’t have evidence to back this up, but people who wash their hands get laid more. Because nobody wants to be with the unwashed.
