NME is reporting that Lady Gaga may join Queen on tour as the band’s frontwoman. Gaga worked with Queen’s Brian May on “You & I,” the newest single from Born This Way. May had this to say about Gaga:
“I worked with Lady Gaga and she’s very creative and is someone we’ve talked about singing, fronting the band with. She’s not just a singer, she writes her own material.” The collaboration doesn’t feel like much of a stretch. Aside from the superficial theatrics, the influence of Queen can be heard in some of the pop diva’s music, such as in the song “Speechless.”
