Well New York Pride was as festive as expected. The passing of the gay marriage bill by the New York state legislature added an extra dose of celebratory elation. The Crasstalk investigative team of BooBoo Kitteh, Rowan, ILovesYouPorgy, Gender Fender Bender, Pssshwhatever, and myself watched the festivities from Madison Square Park in Midtown Manhattan. The parade was epic, lasting four hours, but the energy level was through the roof the entire time. Here’s a slide show of some of the more fun marchers. Continue reading
The Grand Inquisitor

Well hello there Crasstalk. Hope you are ready for a good week. Here’s something to get it started. Continue reading
Hello gang. The Grand Inquisitor is having problems with her ISP and has unreliable internet access this weekend. Because of this she is just going to keep this short before she is offline again. Sorry, full length fun will return next weekend. Anyway, this seemed like a good day to salute the original trail blazer in cartoon marriage equality. Bugs was fifty years ahead of Mario Cuomo.

Happy almost weekend Crasstalk. Today seems like the perfect day to play another round of Guilty Pleasures. Don’t worry, your silly username protects your real identity, so no one has to know how bad your taste really is. This week let’s talk about bad TV. Continue reading

Welcome to Crass Comics. This week I thought we would take a look back at a cartoon that was a brilliant satire of Cold War politics and stereotypes. Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale were characters featured on Jay Ward’s classic The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. The show ran from 1961-1964, and ran in reruns on ABC until 1973. It has been syndicated around the world ever since.
Happy Saturday, my friends. Hope you have some wonderful plans for the weekend. A quick reminder that Crasstalk needs your writing if we are to win The Internet. Please keep your great posts coming so that we have lots of good stuff to read. If you need help with ideas or want to open an author’s account, please email crasstalk at gmail dot com and I will get you set up. Together we can achieve victory. Anyway, here is some fun stuff to start your day. Continue reading
