We all have them. Some keep them better than others. Some people have the magical ability to pull them out of others for all the world to see. Secrets.
Some secrets are more private than others. And that’s okay. Everyone needs to keep some things just to themselves. Some secrets are huge hidden things that have a life of their own. Some things become secrets just because you don’t think they’re important enough to mention to anyone.
Tell me a secret about you. Tell me something nobody knows. It doesn’t have to be big, or scary, or even meaningful. Here, I’ll even start.
When I’m in the car alone, I listen, almost exclusively, to sports talk radio. I prefer local guys but I’ll listen to the national shows when forced. If someone else is in the car, I’m tuned to music playing or the dulcet tones of NPR. But my best friends on snowy cold mornings for 45 minutes are the local sports talk show guys.
See, it isn’t earth-shattering. But I’ve never told anyone about my sports-talk addiction.
