Today is Valentine’s Day, which means that if you have anything remotely resembling a romantic life and said romantic life is subject to the vicissitudes of American consumerism, you’ll likely be out celebrating with your schmoopie or something. For the rest of us, tonight is a gift in the form of Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum and called Project Runway.
Last week, the teams were forced to construct looks for Heidi’s latest soon-to-fail project, a fragrance named “Surprise.” I’d be surprised if it didn’t smell like hell and damnation. And why does every two-bit model, singer, actor, or idiot who did a sex tape have a fragrance? These are questions I think about.
Anyway, ugly looks were sent down the runway and in the end, Funeral Home Peach was sent home. I didn’t really care all that much for her, so, whatever. Kate (who?) and Salvadore Daniel won and were assured that Heidi would wear their looks… somewhere… and sometime.
Since tonight is Valentine’s Day, tonight’s episode will have something to do with Valentine’s Day. It looks like it’ll be the Unconventional Materials challenge, which is almost always fun to watch.
