A Texas woman has been accused of shooting her husband in the stomach when the two argued and the husband threatened to hurt the cat. Sounds perfectly reasonable to me.
There are some seriously important details missing from the story, though.
Investigators with Harris County Precinct 4 say the couple had an argument over the family cat, though there are several cats on the property so it isn’t clear yet which cat sparked the argument.
I mean, come on! Did he threaten Fluffy or Misty? Was it Benjamin Buttons or Chairman Meow Zedong? (We can rest assured that she didn’t shoot her husband because of Santa Paws, though, because everyone knows that cat is a total dick.)
Maybe the investigators have it all wrong. Maybe the truth is that Audrey Deen Miller is taking the fall for her dangerous neighborhood cat gang.
