From the desks of mighty cat herders to the sad cubicles of underperforming corporate drones, fantasy football is back to suck up hours upon hours of would-be productive time. The time-suck, like Crasstalk, is alternately fulfilling and frustrating. With that in mind, we figured, we present Crasstalk Fantasy Football 2012.
Last year, twelve Crasstalkers competed for the title of Greatest (Luckiest) Fantasy Footballer in Crassland. For our trouble, we lost to a book nerd (DaisyWalker). Yours truly didn’t even make the playoffs-thanks to Payton Hillis and Tony Romo. PoBoy Nation finished second, and our Dear Leader took third.
And so, we go at it again. Here’s the drill: if you are interested,email me at [email protected] before Tuesday the 28th. Please put ‘Crasstalk FF’ in the subject line, and let me know how I can ID you (IntenseDebate name, etc). Once we know how many teams we have, we’ll work out league structure as far as roster sizes, etc. Likewise with scheduling the draft, though it needs to happen no later than the Tuesday after Labor Day.
We’ll host the league on ESPN.com again. Last year it was $15 to play, with that money going right back into the winners pool. We’ll keep it the same this year.
