Since this is my Day Of Things, I’d like to share my hobby.
I collect, modify, and paint various toys, mostly of the Transformers variety. I’ve alluded to it in the past, but I thought I would take this opportunity to share one of my creations with all of you.
That’s Optimus Prime. I worked on that figure on and off for probably three years before finally finishing him this past fall. I completely took him apart, painted everything, made his arm swords removable, added articulated hands, real metal smokestacks, chromed certain truck parts, and replaced the LED in his head with a blue one instead of the stock red one.
