Seal Pup Wanders into New Zealand Home

A New Zealand woman got the shock of her life when she found a lost fur-seal pup making itself comfortable on her couch.
The baby seal had wriggled through Annette Swoffer’s cat-door on Sunday night after making a long journey up from the waterfront at Welcome Bay, on New Zealand’s north island.
Ms Swoffer called the SPCA, who contacted the Department of Conservation, which was already looking for a seal reported hopping along a nearby road.
As the pup was being driven away, it escaped from its box and went up to the front of the vehicle, where it accidentally turned on the radio.
