So last week we partied down to the sweet sounds of Gang Starr. I thought that would be some undgrounds sounds that are new to you. Well I was wrong, and none of you were impressed with my crate-digging skillz. So today we done dug a little motherfucking deeper!
Diamond D is straight old school. He came out of the South Bronx, formed the D.I.T.C. crew, and then became a multi-talented godfather of hip-hop. Dude produces, deejays and raps. To be honest, he’s probably best known as a producer. D is mad prolific and made beats for basically every single signed New York rapper of the past 20 years (and he’s still going strong). He’s also known for discovering Fat Joe and Big L. Rapping isn’t even really his thing, but he’s got a dope flow and mad swag. So yeah, peep the skills.
