Ohio Woman Proves You Can’t Lactate Your Way Out of an Arrest

What’s one good way to turn a simple domestic violence charge into a story that will get you some real attention? Spray the responding officers with your breast milk.

That’s what a Columbus, OH-area woman did on Saturday night, after cops were called to the Bridgewater Banquet Facility in response to a fight in the facility’s parking lot.

Stephanie Robinette, the accused, um, sprayer, and her husband were attending a wedding at the facility, where they apparently got into an argument that resulted in her striking her husband and locking herself in her vehicle once the police arrived on scene.

Robinette, who is a charter-school teacher at a school that specializes in children with learning disorders such as ADHD, has been ordered to have no contact with her husband until she stands trial on charges of domestic violence, assault, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. No word on whether she was permitted to pump out the rest of her boozy breast milk.
