Good day, lovelies! After a brief hiatus, we’re back with your #Crasstalk Comment of the Week.
Fortunately, after a week of awesome scrambling to put the site back together, you guys really brought the funny this week. And, you know us witches, we love funny. The fake nose gag? We’re all over that.
Admittedly, my favorite funny stuff, though, is when you guys do a play on words, or sneak in something resembling a pun.
For example, from Delta Sierra on a post about body waxing:
Though, admittedly, I have a soft spot for alliteration. Fortunately, GenderFenderBender knows exactly how to hit that spot, like she did in Wednesday’s Open Thread:
Admittedly, however, I’d be remiss if I didn’t give some credit to folks who can accomplish humor in the longer form as well. From Captain Snarky on Tuesday’s Open Thread:
I don’t even know that I could completely relay the context in which that statement was made, but well played, sir.
However, ultimately, it was a long and somewhat serious week for the world in which we lived. America’s most wanted terrorist was eliminated by our military, and, because the American media machine and the political three ring circus that props it up can’t help themselves, a debate about whether Bin Laden was truly dead cropped up, somehow.
