Sephora can be pretty pricey but if you’re like me and enjoy browsing the sale items and the little “impulse” bins in the front, you’ll find there are some sweet inexpensive items to choose from.
- Retractable Lip Brush: Use this to apply lipstick in a way that will last longer and look more defined on your lips. It’s retractable, too, which helps protect it from germs.
- Crystal nail file with case: Using a glass or crystal nail file to shape your nails is significantly better for the health and strength of your nails than using an emery board or something made of metal. It can help prevent hangnails or tears in your nails.
- Rosebud Salve: I get really dry skin so I like to keep a tin of this in my purse to put on my hands and elbows, and any other patches of skin that tend to get dry or chapped. It smells great and really works to soften your skin. It can also be used as a lip balm.
- “Ombre” colored bobby pins: I’m a sucker for colored bobby pins. Sometimes you want bobby pins to blend into your hairstyle. Other times you want something that just looks cute and stands out.
- Pencil Sharpener: You need one, and it really doesn’t need to be expensive.
- Sephora by OPI Jewelry Top Coats: Sephora by OPI should probably be renamed $ephora by OPI but I am a sucker for good glittery top coats.
- Korres Lip Butters: Okay, technically this is $12 but these are a fantastic value. Little tubs of delicious scented lip gloss that’s not too bright or sticky, and is actually moisturizing and healthy for your lips. Since you have to use your finger to apply, I recommend buying the lip brush to go with this since it’s more sanitary. My favorite is Wild Rose.
- Pointed Eyeliner Brush: While I personally prefer a bent eyeliner brush, this is a good option for a brush for applying any type of gel/pot eyeliner.
- Cleansing Wipes: I’ve become obsessed with having these in my purse because every time the chain pops off my bike, my hands get filthy.
- Sephora by OPI Nail Embellishment Stickers: Nail art can be so easy, especially when you use stickers in sets like these. You can make your nails ridiculously bling-tastic or just do a tasteful and simple embellishment. Let your heart do what it wants…
