Happy Friday. Let’s get this started. Continue reading

Y’all, last week’s “wearable art” challenge saw an enormous amount of FUG stroll down the runway. Except for Emilio’s look. His was gor. ge. OUS. Just gorgeous.
So far, I have one tiny complaint and it’s name is Joanna Coles. She just isn’t Tim Gunn. Tim will come into the workroom and offer the designers constructive criticism and will tell them when, where, and how they’ve gone off the rails into fugtasticness. Joanna, on the other hand, looks at whatever’s on the form and says a couple of really bland, general affirmations or disapprobations. I’d really like for her to be more critical–not in a mean way, but in a way that shows she’s actually interested in what the designers are putting out.
Ok, enough about that. Tonight is all about the snark! Join us in the comments and let’s rip the fashions! Continue reading
Yes, I know it was actually Tuesday, but we have been very busy. Anyway, let me just say, on behalf of the ruling triumvirate, that it has been a lot of fun. A very special thanks to all of you who write for us, and a huge thanks to all of our great editors and mods. This has become a vibrant community and there is no other place like this on the internets. I am sure the next two years will be even more fun. Continue reading
Good lord, was last week’s episode boring, or what? And is the douchestache a thing now? Seriously; who told these guys that handlebar mustaches are anything other than a sign to everyone that you’re a ginormous, pretentious douche? See, that episode was so boring, all I remember were the douchestaches. And the maybe possibly lesbian couple that had to let us know that they weren’t lesbians, they just lived in the same building and did everything together. Continue reading
Hmmm. Ryan Gosling fans are mad and they’re not going to take it anymore. Apparently for two years in a row Ryan Gosling has been snubbed. He hasn’t been named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive,” an honor once held by Nick Nolte. And this infraction just isn’t sitting well with TeamRyan. Somewhere though, Nick Nolte chuckles as he covers himself in gin and Dinty Moore Beef Stew. Continue reading
While the president today in a press conference stated his desire to work with Mitt Romney, the failed politician who vied for the presidency decided it would be a good opportunity to discuss all the “gifts” the president gave out to the electorate for their vote. Oh, yeah, he meant specifically to minorities. Continue reading
New York Times restaurant reviewer, Peter Wells, lobbed what may be one of the most succinct and snarky take downs of any restaurant in recent memory. Well, at least one that’s owned by a famous television food-show personality. But to the masses that enjoy Guy Fieri’s on-screen persona and sloppy sandwich hijinks on his popular Food Network programs Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and Guy’s Big Bite will it really matter? Continue reading
If you keep doing that you will go blind. Continue reading
Liza Minnelli will maybe Fosse her way onto the small screen in NBC’s Smash; RDJ taps Jack Nicholson for father/son tale; ABC just threw something at the wall hoping you’ll care; Star Wars VII has us worried; Axel Foley to show some parenting skills. Continue reading
Week 10 of the NFL is in the books and the playoff picture is definitely coming into focus. Teams are starting to pull away in their various divisions and we need to start talking about who is going to sneak in as a wildcard. The week was much more interesting than I thought it would be, which just goes to show you the unpredictable nature of the NFL. On to The Rundown!
