It’s that time of year when we gather around the tree with loved ones and celebrate the birth of baby Jesus (or crass consumerism). Then one week later those with still working livers and those who are too young to know any better get drunk, make out with a stranger and try to forget all the shit that happened in the previous year. However, there is one little piece of business to take care of before both the alcohol and inevitable vomit begin to flow freely. We must nominate the single worst human being not named Donald John Trump (note this means Jr. is eligible) for the year of 2017.
The rules are simple, we have 4 categories and each one has 8 spots open for nomination. Simply post below the name and category of someone who did some super terrible shit in 2017 (we are just voting on this year, not a lifetime achievement award) If you see a name you agree with give it an upvote, please do not make a new comment with the same nominee. The top 8 vote-getters in each category will duke it out in voting brackets that will be randomly seeded. The winner of this inglorious honor will be notified via as many social networks as possible. Also, I know a lot of you know people so maybe we can score some sort of picture of the winner along with a “Worst Human 2017” placard (covertly of course or openly, maybe I will have a trophy made and have it FedExed to them).
The 4 categories are…
Politician – Pretty much any politician in the US from a town dog catcher who kicks puppies to a Senator who makes your skin crawl.
Media – News mostly, but let’s not forget about the toads lurking in the weeds on the internet social media sites.
Celebrity – Be they famous, famous for being famous or some racist old lady who’s rant was caught on video and uploaded to the internet and went viral.
Foreign Affairs – Anyone outside of the United States, be they a world leader or generally disgusting human.
Also, make sure to include the reason or reasons for their nomination.
