It should be noted that it was exceptionally windy last night so if you see boat rocking an hear wind noise that’s why. Be sure to hit full screen and go HD on the videos to get the most impact.

The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge is a two span bridge that stretches from San Francisco in the West to Yerba Buena Island in the middle of the San Francisco Bay and reaches to Oakland and Alameda in the East. The Eastern span is currently being completely rebuilt using a self anchoring suspension span to replace the old cantilever section that isn’t ready for the earthquakes that are sure to come in the future.

The Bay Lights project was funded by individual donations, local tech entrepreneurs who had some extra cash to throw down and local corporations. The artist who created the project is Leo Villareal who is known for his stunning work in creating visual delight with light emitting diodes.
