Well. Let’s talk about last night’s episode after the jump, okay?
The critics were not given screeners for this week’s episode, so you guys are on your own with the recap links this week since I have one of those yucky grown up jobs now where I’m in an office all day and have no legitimate reason to be looking up Breaking Bad reviews from my work computer. Lo siento.
We knew Mike had to die at some point but didn’t this feel rushed and too convenient? Mike’s a very smart dude and has consistently been one step ahead of everyone else. It was way too easy for Walt to grab his bag and kill him when Mike had so many other (safer) options on who he could call. Mike’s death should have been more of a blow out. I will say the “Just let me die in peace” line was especially poignant considering how much chaos Walt brought into Mike’s life.
