Last night, the stars of the Great White Way took to the red carpet to honor themselves and their superior thespianism above all other artforms. Purple Rain reigned supreme, though some pulled it off better than others. For an example of how not to do the royal color, see after the jump.
Laura Bell Blunder, er, Bundy invaded Barbie’s dream house and let Ken dress her up in Barbie’s “It’s a Very Special Night” gown circa 1984. Yes, we get that those of the theatre are rarely the subject of such pageantry and that you really want to sparkle, but this is not how you do it. Miss Bundy also needs to fire the stylist that allowed her to be stuffed into the trunk of her town car on the way to the show without at least bringing a steamer to unwrinkle that taffeta mess.
