Netflix Now Says It Was Kidding All Along

In an “haha, we were just kidding moment” Netflix has reversed its decision to separate the DVD rental service from its online streaming service. Customers who rent DVDs by mail will continue to be Netflix customers and will not become Qwikster customers as CEO Reed Hastings had announced in a blog post last month. Customers who use both the streaming and DVD rental service will continue to use one site and see only one charge on their credit card.

Customers have lashed out over the price and service changes via facebook and twitter, while Wall Street made its voice heard as the Netflix stock, which hit a high of $298.73 per share this summer, began trading at $127.56 on Monday.
