Alright you guys, who’s drunk as hell right now? I am but hopefully you’re not because if you’re reading this it’s the morning time and you’re on your way to work or whatever it is you do on Wednesdays or maybe it’s like quarter to one in the afternoon and you’re just getting up and the only thing you have to do while waiting for the coffee to brew is check out Crasstalk. Either way it’s probably not four in the morning and you’re probably not just getting home from the bar/work. So here’s some things you might not know because you don’t check the news at four in the morning.
- Everything sucks regarding the US debt, although the Republicans have tried to give Obama “sweeping power” to increase without the approval of congress, so that I guess they can get what they want without having to publicly cooperate with Obama which would damage their image overall. Oh and the plan is “allow” Obama to increase the government’s spending authority so long as he makes equal cuts to government spending. Also, Republican leader John Boehner said that this debt problem is Obama’s problem. Oh really? This from the motherfuckers who fully support America’s two wars, they’re digging their heels in over spending? It’s absurd
- The Libyan rebels are bad people, how shocking.
- Completely fucked up shit is happening in Afghanistan. Yesterday the President’s brother Ahmad Karzai, head of the Kandahar provincial legislature, was assassinated. And now on Wednesday the governor of Helmand province was targeting by two bomb attacks on his way to attend the funeral of Ahmed Karzai. Taliban have claimed responsibilities for both attacks.
