I remember it like it was yesterday. OK, not really, there has been a lot of drinking between my first date and today, but here is what I do remember.
His name was Bill, we were both 15, and his dad dropped us off at the mall. Not being veteran daters we ended up seeing a really depressing movie (Silkwood) and did it before dinner so it was a little awkward. I wore my favorite blue shirt and for some reason he wore a tie. I am pretty sure we were home by 9:30. However, I ended up dating him for well over a year before high school music politics made our relationship untenable.
