United States: Not as Think as You Drunk I Am

The Economist came out with a map showing alcohol consumption per person in 2005 by country.

I personally enjoy the green dot in the middle of the U.S. roughly where Salt Lake City is located but I’m interested to hear what sticks out for you guys.

I suspect these numbers may be skewed a little because they’re looking at everyone over the age of 15. No one under the age of 21 in the United States ever drinks alcohol because that’s against the law.
