If your ex-girlfriend has a restraining order against you, it’s probably a good idea to show up at her house in the middle of the night trying serenade your way back into her heart, right? Wrong! A 50-year-old Swedish man learned this lesson the hard way. The man stood outside his ex-girlfriend’s balcony with a guitar and tried to win her back by playing a Bob Dylan song. Hur romantisk! The restraining order kind of puts a damper on things when you think about it, but he really put a lot of thought into his performance. The man brought along five other men, all wearing dark hoodies with the hoods up, to serve as vocal accompaniments. Continue reading

The problem with liberals is they have no backbone. They believe in live and let live instead of live and let die. Ron Paul says that if someone wants to carry the risk of not having insurance then they should also carry the consequences which might be as much as death. But when you look at this a bit closer you will see that Ron Paul actually just fixed the entire healthcare crisis. Continue reading
Wall Streeters rejoice! In addition to the socialist usurper Barack Obama, your firms will have a new scourge against whom they may throw their campaign dollars. You know, when they aren’t throwing them at executive jets stocked with hookers.
According to the always helpful ‘multiple sources’, the architect of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau plans to mount a campaign to take a Massachusetts Senate seat away from sometimes naked-in-a-magazine person Scooter Brown.
The real question is: Can she win? Well, duh, Massachusetts is beyond blue, Brown’s odd Tea Party backed win in 2010 not withstanding. Comment.
We all know that we should avoid Grandpa Joe but have you heard about the bridal nightmare that is fictional character, Annie Banks? Continue reading
Last week we reviewed a few shows you should definitely give a good look-see, you know, just in case the morning water cooler is like, “Did You See 2 Broke Girls Last Night…Awesome!” And you really don’t want to be the one who says all frantically, “Oh, no. I missed it. NO SPOILERS! NO SPOILERS!” Because that guy/gal really annoys us. Seriously, just walk away or something. Anyway, here are a few TV shows you should only watch if someone is willing to pay you, or if you’re related to one of the stars, or you can’t reach the remote due to being covered with 100 pounds of dog or something like that. (They’re making Finger-Guns up there!)

The US Census Bureau announced today that the number of Americans living in poverty has continued to climb while household median income has dropped. According to the report, 46.2 million Americans now live below the poverty line. The federal government defines poverty as income below $22, 113 for a family of four. This is the third consecutive year that the number has risen, and it reflects the continuing stagnation of the US economy.
Median income also fell, signaling an economic deterioration for middle class Americans. Particularly hard hit are twenty-somethings, many of whom are returning home because they cannot find work. There has been a 25% increase in the poverty rate for Americans aged 25 to 34. Also hard hit are male, full time workers who have seen their income stagnate in real terms since the 1970s. This is especially true for men without college degrees. Continue reading

Who likes to laugh, amirite!? Damn straight! Laughter is like tiny unicorn kisses inside your brain, and should be sought out at all times!
For those of you who are old enough to remember this, Dr. Katz was once a super-hilarious show. Airing in the early days of Comedy Central, “Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist” featured Jonathan Katz taking the day’s best stand-up comics to his private therapist’s couch. H. Jon Benjamin was there too, dontchaknow. After a long hiatus, Jonathan Katz is back, and OHIMGOD YOU GUYS I’M IN THE SHOW! Continue reading
