Nothing beats fresh Fall apples. Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, Fuji, so many options to choose from. I like to mix apples when I bake to get a good blend of sweetness, tartness, and different consistencies. This recipe can be made with any apple variety you want, so go crazy! Continue reading

Now that we’ve given our arteries a chance to unclog, it’s time to take a second foray into the world of Velveeta cheese product and cream of mushroom soup. This week’s recipe is the Chicken Rollups #2 (there was a first one?) featured on Crasstalker Cunning_Linguist’s blog Horrible Pinterest Recipes. Let’s just dive right in, shall we?

I also question the constant use of onion flakes and garlic powder, among other things. Have none of these people heard of fresh ingredients? Are onions that difficult to procure in the Midwest? Feel free to answer any of these questions in the comments section. I also love how everything is fat free, like that’s really going to make a difference in this type of recipe. I guess every little bit helps. Continue reading

I mean, come on. Who among you was surprised when Peach got the old heave-ho last week? I certainly wasn’t, for she is certainly the least crazy of this particular assemblage of “all-stars.”
Ok, so here we go with the second episode of this season of “All-Stars.” And who is this host? Carolyn Murphy isn’t even Heidi-lite. She’s more like HeidiHardly. Or HardlyHeidi. This woman is definitely not going to have a line of crappy baby wear. Well, thank Heidi it’s Thursday, because it’s time to pull up a chair, pour a BIG glass and snark with us! Join us as we rip the “fashions” and the sewtestants!
