Have you ever realized that you had been singing the words to a popular song completely wrong for years? I went the longest time before my older sister corrected me for singing the wrong words to Bruce Springsteen’s Brilliant Disguise. I was singing, “Is that you, Baby or just a brick in disguise?” instead of “Is that you, Baby or just a brilliant disguise?”

My cousin Loretta thought Elton John was singing, “Hold me closer, Tony Danza” in his song Tiny Dancer.
