Can Social Media Plus Celebrity Make a Real Difference?

Way back in May of this year, Conan O’Brien featured a sketch on his TBS show highlighting a small alley in an industrial part of Van Nuys, California. The purpose of the sketch was to jokingly ask the city of Los Angeles and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to change the name of West Raymer Street to Conan O’Brien Blvd.

In the initial sketch, he showcases the surrounding area of the dead-end alley, which is located next to some railroad tracks. What we see is familiar to anyone with experience in industrial or less wealthy neighborhoods in many cities. There is abandoned furniture, graffiti and what looks like an abandoned vehicle. Project Runway Season 9: Blood on the Runway

My little chickens, are we really back here again? How quickly the time flies from season to season. It seems like just yesterday that Mondo was robbed. Ah well. The pen, having written, moves on, and so do we. On the other hand, Miss Heidi cashed her check from the Lady Parts Network so she’s ready to crank up this production and watch the bodies fall. As always, recaps are chock full O spoilers, so read at your own peril.

SYTYCD Recap: All-Stars Become Game Changers

It’s All-Star night and we’re excited. We fully expect the dancing to hit all the right high notes now that we’re down to the top ten. It just better deliver because if not, just what the hell will be on the tour? Pretty much nothing in the last few episodes has been worthy. The lackluster-a-tude this season has been a bit shocking.
