With Michele Bachmann’s animated corpse of a campaign in dire trouble, the couple have been spotted at local places of worship attempting to get the attention of their Higher Power, or practice telekinesis or photosynthesis. I dunno. You tell me what’s going on in this picture.

I read the articles about as much as anyone ever reads them in Maxim or some other quality publication. So let’s talk turkey: What do you think is going on in the picture above? Is Mittens explaining his interpretation of Joseph Smith’s “Word of Wisdom” where he exhorts the faithful from partaking in “Hot Drinks”, which the LDS church interprets to mean “No Coffee and No Tea?” (Note the carafe in the picture, sitting there – mocking him in silence). My love of wine is well known. Cocktails are special occasion drinks for me. The Season of Summer is a special occasion as is Christmas and New Year’s in my household.
