Crowdsourcing Crasstalk: Country Music

Help me, Crasstalk. You're my only hope.

I recently discovered that I like country music. Wait, let me rephrase that: I recently discovered that I like a very specific kind of country music: it should have a fiddle or violins, some guitar picking, and cannot be described as a “power ballad” of any sort. I own one Dixie Chicks album (Taking the Long Way), and the only Wreckers album they ever made. Unfortunately, the Chicks are not recording any new music and the Wreckers are no more.

I want to expand my country collection, but I am not sure what other artists I should seek out. I tried creating a Pandora radio station but I had to downfonze about 80% of the songs that came on. I decided to ask you, dear readers, for your input on this matter. Crasstalk, can you recommend some good country artist/albums/songs that I will like? For your reference, here are a few of my favorites:

The Dixie Chicks: Cowboy Take Me Away

The Wreckers: The Way Back Home

Zac Brown Band: Knee Deep feat. Jimmy Buffett
