I may have shared this with you all before, but one of my cousins is basically living my dream life: she has her own successful catering business, owns a small gourmet shop, has her own cooking magazine, her own TV show, cookbooks… you name it, she owns it. From the time we were little kids, she was always bringing something delicious to our family gatherings. Today I am sharing her recipe for a quick and easy salad dressing.

You must be warned, though: this dressing is heavy on the onions and garlic, so you may want to take some Zantac before your salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup vinegar (white, red wine, or apple cider vinegar works best)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1/2 cup parsley
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small onion


Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. Place dressing in a suitable container and keep refrigerated.
