In honor of Easter and Passover, we decided to do mix things up a bit and instead doing a traditional contest, we thought we’d try showcasing some of the creativity you put into your holiday tables. Both holidays are steeped in such tradition and food is such a large part of them.
Send us in your pix! We’d love to see some of the many ways you and your family observe the holidays. If you can include any descriptions or anecdotes along with them, all the better! Our judges, GTCosita and LaunieK, will not be doing any judging this time around but we thought we’d group your submissions into different categories and they’ll mark their favorites. We just want to celebrate!
The categories we will be looking for are:
Best Appetizers
Best Main Dishes
Best Desserts
Best Decorations (Food-Related)
Best Decorations (Non Food-Related)
Best Tableware
Please make sure that your pictures are clear and give us a good sense of what you’d like to convey. Obviously we are not looking for professional ones but keep in mind things like lighting, sharpness of picture, selection of subject. We don’t recommend trying to cram everything into one picture. In fact we prefer you not to. You can submit up to three pictures.
We’re going to make the deadline Sunday, April 15th, at 11:59 pm PST so that we can include all of Passover too. Please post your submissions in this thread.
