Have political-sex-scandals always been this much fun, or is there just something about a Weiner joke in 140 characters or less? I’m going with the latter and I have a feeling you will too.
We all remember how it started – the simple, almost-scandalous-but-not-really tweet seen ’round the world. That, my friends, was just the beginning. Since the original tweet, Twitter has been all … a-twitter on the issue.
Stephen Colbert wanted to get in on the fun so much, he tweeted his butt cheeks!
… unfortunately, without a very-punny hashtag, this was a non-story.
Seriously, the Weinergate jokes write themselves! Just ask Joy Behar.
While funny, Weinergate was also a learning experience …
We learned that Kayne West jokes are still funny, or something.
And, possibly, the most important lesson of all:
Servicey, right???
And then came the press conference. Did you see that circus?
Some of us just didn’t know what to think …
While some of us are just relieved it’s all out in the open …
It’s certainly been a hoot to watch (and it’s only the beginning)!
Whatever your take, I’m pretty sure there is one thing we can all agree on:
Have you seen (or composed) a better #Weinergate tweet? Share it in the comments!
