Creator of Mad Libs Dies

The creator of one of my favorite childhood, and parenthood, past-times has died: Leonard B Stern.

This 87 year old led a full life. Not only did he create Mad Libs, he wrote or produced Get Smart, McMillan and Wife, The Honeymooners, Abbott and Costello, Ma and Pa Kettle, and The Jackie Gleason Show.

In honor of Stern’s prolific work, I present to you this Mad Lib:

Last night at the NYC Meet Up at this (adjective) bar, The Grand Inquisitor downed (plural noun). Newbunny told tales of (adjective) co-workers and had her (plural noun) touched by many people. Didactic Tactics actually (past tense verb) a (adverb) (adjective) (noun) and it looked great. They all got (noun) and went home to a (noun). They woke up feeling (adjective).
