Rainy Afternoon Theatre

Note: It was actually raining when I wrote this.

So, it’s raining and dreary, at least where I am. It’s too cold and wet for recess outside so we have to hang out in the multi-purpose room and eat graham crackers. So it is time to fire up the projector and watch some films from the AV room in the library. Let’s all get on our mats and relax.

Now be quiet or you will get a referral to the office. Don’t test me. Take that gum out of your mouth and stop touching Suzy. I am pretty sure that by district rules we are required to start with an educational film.

And here is our main feature. I would like to thank the hippy educators I studied under as a small child for a lifetime of moral ambivalence, gender confusion, and general feeling of dread about my existence. I will not be voting to give you that cost of living increase to your social security when the time comes.

OK, let’s all get our shoes back on and head to social studies.
